This page we have created a feature garden at the top to show the work that has gone in to this large landscaped garden in Cold Ash. More landscaped gardens and projects below.
A few before shots and first days shots to show you the original garden condition.
A photo of the bank that you will see later laid with new turf and a softened gradient.
A shot across the main area to be landscaped.
Just one of the many loads of 18 tonne top soil. We were close to 300 tonne of top soil once we had finished.
The shed has been installed and compound enclosed using trellis panels. Shingle on membrane has been laid around the shed for storage.
The first 600 sq m of turf is laid, 200m of hosing and 10 sprinklers.
The next area is ready for top soil and grading.
The sleeper steps are cleaned and shingle laid between each step. You can see in the back ground we have built a small compound lined with pallets for grass cuttings. A very large compost.
The tracks from the digger and dumper after bringing down the hundreds of tonne of soil.
The overgrown pond which later you will see as a level terrace for a table and chairs. The existing lawn you see has all been replaced.

A landscaped garden in Mortimer
This garden was a blank canvas when we started. We have constructed the patio and all you see in the next few photos. The brick lighting in the dwarf wall, stainless steel lighting in the garden and on the house have all been installed by our electrician.
The corner decking with fan effect pergola. Led lighting under the pergola posts. The pergola is raised at the front for when you look from the house you see the whole structure not just the front.
Tram line pergolas at each end of the side decking. Arch ways constructed through the trellis. Led decking lights also installed on this deck.
The newly laid lawn with stainless steel lighting around the boarders.

Landscaped garden in Newbury
The main feature to this garden is the circular patio. We have built up curved timber edges as the boarders and laid the remaining garden to shingle.
Our customers are keen cyclists and we have built a soak away next to the shed so washing down of bikes is easy and no puddling.
A landscaped courtyard garden in Newbury
This garden before was a simple grey patio and some wasted space not being used. We have laid a new patio and small retaining wall in a similar colour stone.
We have used railway sleepers to hold back the raised terrace for the table and chairs.

The existing garden as it stood. Our customer pretty much new exactly what they wanted.
We built a retaining walls as flower beds on the banked section of lawn. A pathway through the centre and steps leading to the shed base.
The patio has been extended along with the dwarf wall.

A Custom Built Oak Porch with Tiled Roof.
Here is a photo of the house before we started.
We have also landscaped the rest of the garden. Unfortunately weather was not on our side whilst the photos were taken. The porch looked so good we felt it had to go on the website to show off.
Large Oak Pergola in Princes Risborough
The Oak pergola is to be constructed along with a hardwood deck, raised patio and natural swimming pool.
Some before photos of the old deck and steps.
The Oak pergola will be built to the same height as the existing oak balcony.
The Oak posts are far too heavy to be moved by hand. 2 of us could just lift them so a 13m telescopic forklift was brought in for the job.
The Oak posts are in position, braced and the holes being concreted.
The first few cross beams are being installed.
The pergola is completed.
We thought it was complete. Our clients had decided it was to overpowering and requested it to be lowered. So we did.
Patio work in Kintbury in conjunction with the large deck in Kintbury on the previous page.
